Meet Coach Z

I’m Dr. Tekeisha Zimmerman, founder of Masterpiece in Progress Coaching & Development, and someone who knows what it feels like to lead while holding grief, responsibility, and expectations that rarely pause.

This work didn’t start in a classroom or a coaching manual. It started in real life when I was navigating the personal loss of my son while managing teams, building programs, and trying to keep it all together. While I was fortunate to have great support from my leaders at Expedia during this time, I saw firsthand how the workplace often asks us to shrink our emotions to fit into a calendar invite.

So I created something different.
