I’m Dr. Tekeisha Zimmerman, Learning Strategist, Clinical Professor and founder of Masterpiece in Progress. I partner with HR leaders and learning teams to build the kind of leadership and learning capability that outlasts any single program or session. Drawing on two decades inside global organizations, I bring together storytelling, human-centered design, and real-world leadership insight to create experiences that stick.
My approach comes from doing the work. I have led teams, designed and facilitated global programs, and learned firsthand how easily good intentions fall apart when communication is unclear or learning does not stick. That experience shapes how I work today, focused on practical skills, real behavior change, and helping people say what needs to be said in ways others can hear.
The leaders and facilitators I work with are already capable. What they need is learning that creates lasting behavior change. I deliver that through keynotes, workshops, and custom programs built on the VERSE Framework™. With over fifteen years working with organizations like Amazon, Citigroup, and UnitedHealthcare, that is exactly what I have helped them do.

THE VERSE™ FRAMEWORK
VERSE is a proprietary facilitation framework I developed to give educators, trainers, and speakers the language and intentionality to guide transformational learning. It stands for Vibe, Engage, Reveal, Spin, and End. It is the tool I use, the one I teach, and the foundation of a book coming in 2027.
CREDENTIALS AT A GLANCE
Most learning programs aim for impact but few drive real change. In this episode of GydeBites, I share why that gap exists and what L&D teams can do differently — from avoiding the most common missteps in change management to personalizing learning at scale.
At ATD 2024, I had the pleasure of being a guest on The Learning Culture podcast with amazing host, Andrew Barry. In this episode, I reflect on my time at Amazon, the role intentionality plays in leadership development, and why empathy is not a soft skill but a strategic one.
In this episode of The Intelligence Amplifiers Podcast, I reflect on my journey from call center trainer to Clinical Professor, why curiosity matters more than expertise in L&D, and how the VERSE Framework™ was inspired by storytelling and real-time engagement. The future of learning is more human, not less.
